A four-part series; we couldn’t get Brian, but being the BBC got Mike Love and Al Jardine, as well as a wealth of priceless archive. Theirs is an incredible story, so many highs and lows. The most memorable moment for me was when I asked Al Jardine for his memories of the legendary Smile sessions? “God”, he laughed, “it was like Groundhog Day!”
